Adult Religious Formation (RCIA)
WHAT IS THE RCIA?
THE R.C.I.A. PROGRAM is formally known as the RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS. This program is specifically a process for adults who wish to explore the possibility of joining the Catholic Church and who wish to receive the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Eucharist. The R.C.I.A. program is designed for adults who are unbaptized, baptized in another Christian faith, or for baptized Catholics who have never received First Eucharist or Confirmation.
Together, we will read and learn about the Scriptures and about the teachings of the Catholic Church. Through the course of studies and through sharing our own faith experiences, we will enter into a journey of awareness as we discover God’s presence and Spirit working in our lives.
